Dwarakesh Prabhakaran
Partner
Dwarakesh Prabhakaran has been practising law since 2009. He specializes in litigation and advisory work in corporate law, insolvency, real estate and indirect taxes. He is an alumnus of the ILS Law College, Pune (BSL, LLB) and the University of Cambridge, UK (LLM) and was awarded the Shell Chevening Scholarship by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, UK and the Pegasus Scholarship by the Inner Temple, Inns of Court, London.
He has appeared extensively before the Supreme Court of India, the Madras High Court, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, the National Company Law Tribunal, the Real Estate Regulatory Authorities, the Customs Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal, civil courts, consumer courts and other tribunals. He has been empanelled as a counsel for the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (2022-2025) and the Employees State Insurance Corporation (2024 onwards).
Dwarakesh is enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry. He is a member of the Madras High Court Advocates Association and the Corporate Insolvency & Bankruptcy Laws Bar Association, Chennai.

Gunjan Prabhakaran
Partner
Gunjan completed her bachelor’s in law at the ILS Law College, Pune, in 2006. She is enrolled at the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
She has 17 years of experience in indirect taxation, specializing in GST, Customs, erstwhile indirect tax laws, and foreign trade policy-related matters across varied industries.
She established and led indirect tax practice for Grant Thornton India LLP and BDO India LLP in Chennai. She went on to head the Indirect Tax Practice for BDO India LLP nationally from 2019 to 2025, managing over 300 professionals across 13 locations. During her tenure, BDO India LLP was awarded the prestigious “Indirect Tax Firm of the Year” award in APAC region in 2024.
She was recognized as “Highly Regarded” and featured in “Women in Tax” rankings by World Tax 2024, International Tax Review. She has authored and published more than 50+ articles on GST and Customs law.

Sandeep Bagmar R

Sandeep completed his bachelor’s in law at the ILS Law College, Pune, in 2010. He has completed executive program in International Tax Law, ITC Leiden – IFA India Academy. He is enrolled at the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in 2010.
Sandeep has extensive experience in handling complex tax and international tax disputes. He specializes in income-tax, international tax, transfer pricing, goods and services tax, local taxes, constitutional law, corporate law and civil disputes. He has also advised a variety of clients on tax issues and advisories. He has represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, Madras High Court, Other High Courts, Income-tax Appellate Tribunal, Central Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal, Authority for Advance Ruling, and other quasi-judicial authorities.
He has assisted in editing the 10th and 11th editions of Kanga & Palkhivala’s Law and Practice of Income Tax, LexisNexis, 2014 and 2020. He has also co-authored the Master Guide to Income-tax, LexisNexis, 2014. He has written articles on various tax and constitutional issues published in law journals. He also has deep academic interest and is a regular speaker at study circles, seminars and workshops.
